නවීකරණය කර අලුතින් ඉදිකරන ලද නව ගාල්ල බස්නැවතුම්පොළ අතිගරු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා විසින් 2011 ජූලි 11 වන දින ජනතා අයිතියට පත්කරණ ලදී.
මේ සඳහා රුපියල් මිලියන 405 ක් ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන අමාත්යාංශය විසින් වියදම් කරන ලදී. මෙය ලංකාවේ දිගම බස්නැවතුම්පොළ වන අතර එහි දිග මීටර් 161 ක් හා පළල මීටර් 10 ක් වේ. මෙම බස්නැවතුම්පොළ පහළ මාලය වර්ග අඩි 1255 ක් වේ. එහි පුළුල් LCD තිර 3ක් මගින් බස් ගාස්තු හා කාලසටහන් ප්රදර්ශණය කරනු ලබන අතර මගීන්ට තොරතුරු ලබාගැනීම සඳහා තොරතුරු මධ්යස්ථානයක් දකුණු පළාත් මාර්ගස්ථ මගී ප්රවාහන අධිකාරිය මගින් පවත්වාගෙන යනු ලබයි.
The newly constructed Modern Galle Bus stand was Open by His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksa today (July 11th 2011).
Rs. 405 million was spent on its construction by the Ministry of Economic Development. This two storied bus stand is the longest in Sri Lanka and its length is 161 meters with a width of 10 meters.This modern bus stand has 1255 sq.ft in the ground floor. Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority Establish the Information Center & Displaying Time Table & Fares Using large three LCD TV screen for the convenience to passengers.
